Kelly Wiemer Honored as Nurse Practitioner of the Year
The award was bestowed by the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association.
Concord Hospital proudly announces that Kelly Wiemer, APRN, was named 2023 Nurse Practitioner of the Year by the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association. She was recently recognized at an event celebrating National Nurse Practitioner Week alongside her peers.
This recognition is given annually to an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) who has made significant contributions to the role of nurse practitioner at the state or national level in clinical practice, legislative advocacy, education or research.
“This is a well-deserved and prestigious honor for Kelly,” said Concord Hospital Administrative Director of Primary Care Eric Sheff. “We are so incredibly proud of Kelly’s contributions to both her patients and the hospital, as well as her commitment to fulfilling our mission of meeting the healthcare needs of individuals within the communities we serve.”
Wiemer joined the Concord Hospital health system in January 2006 as a clinical leader and staff nurse in the cardiac/respiratory unit, then moved on to the cardiac/thoracic surgery unit in 2008 as a staff nurse. In 2013, she joined the team at Family Tree Health Care in Warner in her current role as a family nurse practitioner.
